General Information of Fairy Shrimp Sirindhornae
Fairy shrimp Sirindhornae or Streptocephalus sirindhornae (scientific name) is a crustacean in the family Streptocephalidae (Sanoamuang et al., 2000). Fairy shrimp swim in a supine position and eat by filter feed. When the Fairy Shrimp swim, they create a stream of water, contributing to the dense aggregation of food between their leg. Then, the food is blown into the sticky substance that is excreted in the mouth and is swallowed up.

This species and the size of the shrimp make them really neat to keep. Don’t get them as fish food, you’ll fall in love with them. Need several capsules if you want a lot of them for feeding fish.
